Era: Circa 40.
Condition: Excellent Condition.
Flaw: A few small gems missing towards the end of the necklace. Not noticeable at all. Please see the enlarged photo.
Size: Necklace - entire length 16 1/2" and adjustable. Bracelet 8".
Designer: SIGNED VENDOME. Vendome was one of the Coro company's top of the line costume jewelry and was one of the most famous manufacturers of costume jewelry in the mid twentieth century.

This is a magnicent matching set indeed! It makes my heart skip a beat every time I look at it. Even though a few small gems are missing, the multi color gem stones setting against the bright gold sparkle so brilliantly that you could hardly notice the missing gems. The missing gems are located at the very back of the necklace. I have to look for them and took me a few times before I can find them. The entire length of the necklace and bracelet are clear, translucent faceted Swarovski crystals. Each faceted crystal is wrapped around with 5 small diamond shaped gold tone finding with a sparkling gem stone sitting on each finding. The brilliant gem stones are of red, pink, blue, purple and gold color. A fine jeweler had been slaving over this set, one crystal at a time, to adorn a lady who must have been important or of royal heritage. There are 35 crystals just on the necklace alone and 21 crystals on the bracelet. The design of this majestic creation has an exotic influence from the East. The necklace has a long extension of 5 faceted sparkling crystals and what looks like a golden emblem dangling at the end. It is just fabulous! The bracelet has an snappy insert clasp. This matching set has the feel of substance and weight to it and is very well constructed. I have seen much vintage jewelry in my life but I have never seen anything quite like this set.
