Condition: Good Condition.
Flaw: A minor repair was done on the underside of the center piece. The repair has dulled 4 silver tone prone settings (not affecting the stones) in the front of the necklace. There are also two very small scratches on a faux pearl. These flaws are not noticeable unless looking at closeup.

Designer: Marked WEISS on oval plate on all three pieces. Albert Weiss is one of the world renowned designers of the 40's and 50's known for the top quality of his costume jewelry, on the par with Eisenberg, Boucher and other great designers of that era.

Despite of the flaw mentioned above, this Weiss jewelry set is just stunningly beautiful. The deep ruby red crystal rhinestones set off a lot of fire and sparkles. They surround nine marquise shaped shiny faux pearls. The faux pearls are graduated in size. The largest faux pearl measures 5/8" and the smallest measures 3/8". The center piece measures 5" wide and 1" in length. It cradles beautifully around the base of the neck. The matching clip on earrings have two 5/8" faux pearls encircled by gorgeous shimmering red ruby crystal rhinestones. All prong set on silver tone. A magnificent old Weiss jewelry set like this usually sells for at least $125.00. Because of the flaws, I have adjusted the price to $98.00. It features round cut, teardrop shaped, baguette, princess cut and large opal shaped crystal rhinestones of sapphire and aqua blue all prong set on goldtone! It is not signed and should have been. It is absolutely a high-end jewelry set with excellent workmanship and attention to details. It has substance and nice weight to the pieces. The necklace is 1/2" wide with 3 rows of sparkling sapphire blue and aqua blue crystal rhinestones. The middle row are aqua blue crystal rhinestones punctuated by a sapphire blue teardrop crystal rhinestone on each end. It is slightly raised to add depth and interest to the necklace. The extension is a book link accented by 10 aqua blue round rhinestones and finishing off with a sapphire blue tearshop rhinestone. The center piece features two large aqua blue opal shaped crystal rhinestones adorned by 3 small rounds and has 3 strands of rhinestone dangles dripping down. Each dangle features round cut, baguette and teardrop sapphire and aqua blue crystal rhinestones. Each large opal shaped stone measures 3/4" x 1/2". Each baguette measures 3/8" x 1/4" and the teardrops measures 3/8" each. The magnificent center drop measures 2 3/4" x 1 1/4" and complimenting the matching dangle earrings fabulously. The screw back matching dangle earrings feature a princess cut and two opal shaped rhinestones prong set in a triangular fashion dripping down with 3 glorious strands of round, baguette and teardrop crystal rhinestones much like the center piece of the necklace. Breathtakingly beautiful! The picture cannot capture the beauty of this magnificent jewelry set. The huge citrine lucite stone of the ring is opal shaped and is more faceted. The huge lucite stone (1" x 5/8") looks clear, almost transparent and exudes sparkles to imitate a real gem. Five marvelous Aurora Borealis black beaded strands form a gorgeous bib around your neck. The black beads are oval shaped, round, flat and are all faceted. The beads of the entire lengths are separated by black-beaded spacers. Most beads have a coating which produces a rainbow of colors and shimmer at the slightest movement. It has a 3 1/2" beaded extension so you'll look very becoming wearing it as a choker bib or a necklace. The matching dome-like clip on earrings have six 1/2" oval-shaped, faceted beads on the outer rim, six round faceted shimmering beads in the center and one faceted bead sitting proudly on top. Designer: SIGNED VENDOME. Vendome was one of the Coro company's top of the line costume jewelry and was one of the most famous manufacturers of costume jewelry in the mid twentieth century.

This is a magnicent matching set indeed! It makes my heart skip a beat every time I look at it. Even though a few small gems are missing, the multi color gem stones setting against the bright gold sparkle so brilliantly that you could hardly notice the missing gems. The missing gems are located at the very back of the necklace. I have to look for them and took me a few times before I can find them. The entire length of the necklace and bracelet are clear, translucent faceted Swarovski crystals. Each faceted crystal is wrapped around with 5 small diamond shaped gold tone finding with a sparkling gem stone sitting on each finding. The brilliant gem stones are of red, pink, blue, purple and gold color. A fine jeweler had been slaving over this set, one crystal at a time, to adorn a lady who must have been important or of royal heritage. There are 35 crystals just on the necklace alone and 21 crystals on the bracelet. The design of this majestic creation has an exotic influence from the East. The necklace has a long extension of 5 faceted sparkling crystals and what looks like a golden emblem dangling at the end. It is just fabulous! The bracelet has an snappy insert clasp. This matching set has the feel of substance and weight to it and is very well constructed. I have seen much vintage jewelry in my life but I have never seen anything quite like this set. Fabulous glittering bib with almost 1,000 brilliantly sparkling diamond like crystals all individually prong set on bright gold tone! The gorgeous 1 3/4" center piece has an 1/2" sparkling teardrop shaped crystal surrounded by 5 rows of individually prong set crystals. On each side of the center piece are 4" of more brilliant crystals prong set in a half circle dome-like fashion layered on each other adding more depth to the jewel. Almost 1,000 individually prong set crystals, row after row, forming this incredibly beautiful jewel. Only the craftsmanship of a superb fine jeweler and hours and hours of painstaking labor could make this possible. The rest of the necklace are two rows of more sparkling crystals.
