I absolutely adore the chunky beads and the very cheerful canary yellow color of this wonderful vintage necklace and earring set. It is simple yet so elegant. The very smooth and inviting round beads are strung in between clear glass seed beads to define each one. The beads are made of hard plastic, very much like glass. I had to use a loupe to tell the difference. At first I thought they are bakelite but tested negative. Regardless of material, you will love it! The chunky beads of the necklace measure 3/4" each! The beads of the earrings are 5/8" each and the color is slightly darker than the necklace but they are obviously a set. Excellent condition. The jewelry items they created in the early years were of museum quality even though they were Costume jewelry. They were considered good enough for queens. Hobe quit manufacturing jewelry sometime in 1992.

Fantastic signed Hobe vintage antique necklace and earrings jewelry set! Gorgeous, geometric square facet crystal beads adorned by two purple edged crystal flower discs on each side with glitzy clear rhinestone rondells as accenting spacers! All this glorious arrangement is strung on a sturdy silvertone chain. The tip of the extender has a beautiful cluster of 3 blue square crystals and 4 ameythst crystal flowers to dangle alluringly from the back.
