Designer: Marked © VENDOME. Vendome was one of the Coro company's top of the line costume jewelry and was one of the most famous manufacturers of costume jewelry in the mid twentieth century.

These Vendome dangle clip earrings are ravishingly beautiful! I have seen many beautiful earrings and I rarely see ones with clear stones prong set on Japanned metal like these. The japanned (black) metal set off the gorgeous, clear crystal rhinestones so strikingly. These earrings are 4" in length and very dangly. The dangling piece is long and dimensional. It features clear baguettes prong setting outwards, 3 archy bands of glittering round stones layering over two bands of round stones arching the opposite way (very thoughtfully designed). Then, eight sparkling open back marquise rhinestones prong set onto an elongated triangular intensify the glamour and femininity. All the clear crystal rhinestones are bright and sparkling. These Vendome earrings are not only unique, they are extraordinary beautiful with a depth of quality in workmanship and design. Definitely top designer's earrings for special occasions. I wish you could see them in person. The picture just doesn't capture the unique essense of these earrings. Clip backs. Excellent condition.
