The beautiful oval smokey large glass stone (1" x 3/4") is lustrously smooth and slightly concave. Also note the rim of the stone has square faceting to give the illusion of glittering small square stones. The large oval cut stone is secured by multiple crown prongs exuding a flair of antiquity and is further encircled by a rope style frame for contrasting texture and rich detailing that we see in high-end jewelry. The back of the earrings are silvertoned, shiny, smooth and chrome-like. Typical of Whiting & Davis jewelry, these outstanding W&D vintage earrings are of high calibre, obviously well-made and expertly crafted. Near mint condition.
