Designer: Signed DEMARIO NY. PAT 184432. Robert DeMario started making jewelry prior to World War II. He founded the Robert DeMario Company in the mid 40's in New York and continued making jewelry until the late 50's. Though DeMario and Haskell jewelry is quite similar, they never worked together contrary to popular belief.

Gilt brass edged flower and vines layering over delicious warm mocha colored lustrous faux pearls in a lovely paisley design with glistening amber crystals dotting the piece! Every pearl and crystal is hand prong set, one pearl at a time, crystal after crystal, then hand wired onto an ornate filigree gilt brass two-layered base. Only a talented artisan such as Robert DeMario himself could achieve such immaculate details so beautifully. Since DeMario was in business for only a brief period of time, his pieces are hard to find and very sought after. Not only are these DeMario vintage beauties highly collectible and superb, they are in excellent condition. No peeling to the faux pearls whatsoever, every amber crystal is sparkling brightly, the prongs, wiring, findings are all secured and tight, eager to hug your ears for long lasting enjoyment!
