Era: Circa 45.
Condition: Good To Excellent Condition.
Flaw: Scratch on two faux pearls. The three strands have been restrung and a few small white seed beaded spacers are missing. The middle crystal strand hangs a bit longer.
Size:Total Length: 15 1/4" including the 2 1/4" extender.
Designer: Signed MARIAM HASKELL on oval plague. Miriam Haskell made high end jewelry since 20's. Her costume jewelry is the collectible of the collectibles. Most of her pieces were signed from the 1940's onward.

Three strands of Miriam Haskell's pearls and crystals! The first and last strands are gorgeous, lustrous glass faux pearls with white seed beaded spacers. Middle strand is high quality, clear faceted glitzy crystals with clear bead spacers. The three glorious strands joined at each end with a classic floral design of 6 faux pearls hand wired onto gilded brass. The largest faux pearls measure over 3/8" each and the smaller faux pearls measure over 1/4". The faceted crystals measure over 1/4". It closes with a glided brass faux pearl hook and a faux pearl extension. Miriam Haskell is known for using fine quality material imported from France, Italy and Venice with most crystals came from Bohemia. All her pieces are done by hand and has the distinct characteristics of irregularities in her pieces. Dispite the flaws (discount factored into the price), it is still Miriam Haskell and a true treasure to own. Designer: MARKED Hobe with the long "H" and long "b" on oval plate. Hobe has been in business since the late 1800s, rich in jewelry history and it seems to be a family tradition. The jewelry items they created in the early years were of museum quality even though they were Costume jewelry. They were considered good enough for queens. Hobe quit manufacturing jewelry sometime in 1992.

This stunningly beautiful Hobe goldtone rhinestone bib necklace emits flashes of glitters. It features 2 lengths of shimmering woven goldtone chain links edged by glitzy clear round stones and finishes off with 3 sparkling round clear rhinestones at the end of the extension.
