I love the way the smooth, luxuriant faux pearls radiating the base of the neck. I can envision it adorning the elongated neck of a pretty princess. The clear crystal rhinestones sparkle like real diamons. The lustrous faux pearls are not the typical round but are somewhat oval shaped connecting to large dazzling round diamond-like round crystal rhinestones! The lustrous faux pearls are round and oval shaped strung in between art glass beads, gold foiled glass square beads and small tube shaped glitzy clear beads. The round and oval shaped clear art glass beads have white swirling patterns. Each end of the necklace has a goldtone filigree cap. You can wear this outstanding necklace torsade style or twist the strands into rope style and wear it as a choker. When the strands are twisted rope style, it creates a lot of thickness to the piece and makes the gorgeous beads stand out even more. The gold foiled beads are showing wear (please see large photos) but it is not noticeable when the necklace is worn. Excellent condition. Designer: Signed MARIAM HASKELL on oval plague. Miriam Haskell made high end jewelry since 20's. Her costume jewelry is the collectible of the collectibles. Most of her pieces were signed from the 1940's onward.

Three strands of Miriam Haskell's pearls and crystals! The first and last strands are gorgeous, lustrous faux pearls with white bead spacers. Middle strand is high quality, clear faceted glitzy crystals with clear bead spacers. The three glorious strands joined at each end with a classic floral design of 6 faux pearls hand wired onto gilded brass. The largest faux pearls measure over 3/8" each and the smaller faux pearls measure over 1/4". The faceted crystals measure over 1/4". It closes with a glided brass faux pearl hook and a faux pearl extension. Miriam Haskell is known for using fine quality material imported from France, Italy and Venice with most crystals came from Bohemia. All her pieces are done by hand and has the distinct characteristics of irregularities in her pieces. This beautiful Miriam Haskell faux pearl and crystal necklace showcases the exceptional quality of what she is known for. Upon close inspection, there is a scratch on two faux pearls which is hardly noticeable. Other than that, this antique treasure is in excellent condition. The teal blue is so clear that you can see right into the base of the stones. Alternating the blue is orangy Aurora Borealis flashing an array of gold, purple, pink and blue colors! Each gorgeous emerald cut crystal rhinestone is prong set East West and measures 3/8" x 3/8" and almost 1/4" thick. Designer: MARKED Hobe � with the long "H" and long "b" on oval plate. Hobe has been in business since the late 1800s, rich in jewelry history and it seems to be a family tradition. The jewelry items they created in the early years were of museum quality even though they were Costume jewelry. They were considered good enough for queens. Hobe quit manufacturing jewelry sometime in 1992.

This fabulous Hobe necklace features four strands of shimmering mesh gold tone with a total width of 1/2". The Art Deco designed drop measures 5 1/2" of seven glittering mesh gold tone strands setting through a pear shaped loop. Each strand is punctuated by a solid shining gold bead.
