Condition: Excellent Condition.
Flaw: The "c" lock is missing.
Size: Length 2 1/2" x 2 1/8" wide.
Designer: Signed Hattie Carnegie on oval plaque. The Hattie Carnegie Company operated between 1917 and 1970. Carnegie began designing jewelry to complement her dress designs which attracted the rich and famous. Her designs did not follow the trend of the time to simulate real jewels but instead showed tremendous originality.

Hattie Carnegie brooch with unique antique design and subtle beauty. The large faceted oval cut smokey glass stone is surrounded by glittering clear rhinestones and further accentuated by a drape of clear and smokey round stones. The large oval stone measures 1" x 1 1/4"! Even though the brooch is missing the "c" lock, the pin ledges securely. Aside from the missing "c" lock, this brooch is in excellent condition.
