In one word, WOW! The exquisite multi-color edged stained glass is in shades of pink, red, green and purple encasing in an expertly tooled out gorgeous butterfly made of high-polish shiny sterling silver. The back of the brooch is done the same way as the front and looks the same way as the front. The colorful edged stained glass is luminous especially when the light hits it! This beautiful butterfly vintage brooch is almost 1/4" thick. It is also heavy because of the generous used of sterling silver. The curvature and the tooled out patterns of the brooch give it an Art Nouveau flair. What a find! Excellent condition.
