Era: Circa 70.
Condition: Excellent Condition.
Flaw: Two slight chips on the tip of two leaves at the back but not noticeable on the front of the brooch.
Size: 2" x 2".
Designer: UNSIGNED BEAUTY.

I acquired this fabulous porcelain brooch when I was in England in the early 70's. Not only do I love the workmanship, I'm also charmed by the rich translucent glaze coating the brooch. The color scheme is wonderful as well. Blue and white flowers further adorned by smaller pink ones against a green leafy background with artist strokes of brown dabbing the corners of all five leaves. Very Victorian pining it on a high collar. Alternatively, pin it onto a ribbon and wear it as a choker piece. Either way, it exudes the sensibility of the old European era with much charm and grace.
