This is an exceptionally beautiful vintage brooch! It is huge, classy, substantial and extremely well-constructed. The center is a cluster of sparkling marquise cut clear crystal rhinestones. The surroundings are gorgeous sprays of long, slender glittering tentacles. Some pieces are encrusted with shimmering clear crystals and the others are blue enameled pieces. The glistening tentacles are archy, curvy with the tips tilting downwards or upwards, to the left or to the right, very unconform and lots of going ons. The blue enameled pieces are outlined by a raised goldtone edge and the clear glitzy pieces by a raised silvertone edge contrasting one another to further eccentuate the articulation. The glitzy clear rhinestoned pieces have a shiny silvertone metal backing while the backing of the blue enameled pieces are goldtone. A very interesting, gorgeous, dimensional, substantial, high-end designer book piece. Some of the blue enamel has come off but it is hardly noticeable because of the elaborate, busy design. The ultra beauty of this magnificent brooch by far overwhelms the small loss of enamel, and the high-quality construction will give you years and years of lasting enjoyment! Excellent Condition.
