Clear crystal Art Deco large bow ribbon beautifully tooled out exuding a charming Victorian lace effect! The curves and folds are gorgeously articulated showcasing the thoughtful designs of high-end jewelry. Unfortunately the pin lock is missing (it is a manufacturing flaw) and is discounted in price. Gorgeous gold-filled textured folded leaves, three lustrous genuine pearls and shiny artistic gold-filled wires! For those who are not sure what "gold filled" means, it is a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal. Gold-filled jewelry is more expensive than gold plated jewelry because it has more gold weight and does not wear off as much as gold plated jewelry. This gorgeous gold-filled vintage designer leaf brooch is marked "1/20 14K G.F." which means the gold coating is 14 karat gold, and is 1/20th of the total weight. Excellent condition. The two-layered gorgeous rosette is then further mounted to yet another gilt brass edged base and also to a gilt brass filigree flower base where the famous Miriam Haskell horseshoe signature plaque is embossed. This sumptuous layering technique articulates depth and vividity showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship that Haskell jewelry is known for.
