Brilliant ice clear large oval cut paste stones alternating the sparkling clear round cut paste stones to create a large (4" x 3") and gorgeously striking Art Deco 'V' drop! Each oval paste stone measures generously at almost 1/2" x 3/8" and is carefully prong set by hand in a shiny rhodium finish mouting. To those who are not familiar with paste stones, they are brilliant cut lead crystals to emulate diamonds. This remarkable necklace closes with a rhinestone studded foldover clasp. Designer: MARKED Hobe with the long "H" and long "b" on oval plate. Hobe has been in business since the late 1800s, rich in jewelry history and it seems to be a family tradition. The jewelry items they created in the early years were of museum quality even though they were Costume jewelry. They were considered good enough for queens. Hobe quit manufacturing jewelry sometime in 1992.

This stunningly beautiful Hobe goldtone rhinestone bib necklace emits flashes of glitters. It features 2 lengths of shimmering woven goldtone chain links edged by glitzy clear round stones and finishes off with 3 sparkling round clear rhinestones at the end of the extension. This ultra feminine, beautiful cryssal necklace and clip earring set has much charm and grace. It features Aurora Borealis coated flat and diamond shaped crystals. The faceted crystals emit flashes of gold, purple, orange, green and blue. The matching earrings feature a large round faceted Aurora Borealis crystal in the center surrounded by smaller ones forming a floret. Truly awesome! The largest crystal measures almost 1/2". The necklace has a hook closure and a crystal beaded extension. It adorns graciously a slim, elongated neck. Excellent condition. Flaw: A small peel on two teardrop pearls and a small worn spot on the antique brass leave.

Designer: EARLY UNSIGNED MARIAM HASKELL BRACELET. Miriam Haskell jewelry is signed after circa 35.

Miriam Haskell Jewelry has always been made by hand from the beginning and never mass produced. Pieces prior to the late 1940's were unsigned but clearly recognizable and prized for their fine quality workmanship. This is another fine example of one of her very early pieces. The center is a very ornate piece of 6 teardrop shaped faux pearls layered with articulated antique brass leaves creating depth and dimension. This gorgeous center piece is further adorned by two rhinestone centered pearly florets. The three strands of lustrous faux pearls are strung together by wire forming an inviting circlet. The magnificent center piece is also wired down to a filigree antique brass finding, typical of Miriam Haskell's detailed ornate workmanship. The center piece measures 2 3/4" x 1 1/4" and 3/4" tall. The large teardrop faux pearls measure 1" x 5/8" each. The round faux pearls each measure 1/4" in diameter. This gorgeous coil bracelet opens from the front. You can wear it with the two pieces meeting in the center resembling a butterfly-like design or have it one above the other (please see large photos). Either way, it's just absolutely ravishing. The only regret is a small peel on two teardrop pearls and a worn spot on an antique brass leave (please see large photo). However, the extremely ornate embellishment of this antique bracelet much overwhelmed these small flaws. Good condition. What a jewel! This stunningly beautiful clear rhinestone bangle bracelet features large oval cut sparkling rhinestones prong set all around the entire bracelet. So, whichever way the bracelet turns, all you'll see are hefty, rich sparkling stones! The oval stones are exceptionally large. The largest ones measure 3/4" x 5/8" each. The smaller ones are 3/8" x 1/2". These gorgeous stones are each mounted in tall prong setting adding a lot of thickness to the piece. Even though there are peppering in some stones (please see large photos) and a small chip on two oval stones, the exceptional beauty of this bracelet by far overwhelmed these small flaws. The push in clasp works great and closes the bracelet in a snap. The price is dramatically marked down because of these small flaws. If you love large sparkling stones, don't miss this opportunity. The end of each strand is highlighted by a opal cut milk glass stone. The middle strand is hanging longer to accentuate a more drippy effect. A very well-balanced design. The large opal cut stone measures 3/8" and the teardrop shaped stone measures slightly over 1/2". All the stones are prong set on silver tone metal. High quality and very becoming. Clip backs.
