Designer: Marked 19 Grosse © '67 Germany on an oval plaque. Manufactured by Henkel & Grosse who began business in 1907 in Pforzheim, Germany world famous for producing high quality jewelry for Christian Dior, Schiaparelli, etc. Their pieces are marked Grosse Germany and some pieces also have the year engraved. In this piece it is 67 (for 1967).
Signed Grosse absolutely stunning vintage designer bridal brooch! Love the gleaming texture in front contrasting the high-polish smooth back. Stem dotted by a reflective ruby red glass cabochon. Nice weight, extremely well-made showcasing what Grosse jewelry is known for, looks and feels like real gold, in rare mint condition! What a jewel! A fabulous brooch pin to wear at weddings, prom nights, pageants, parties, cruises and special functions! Price US$168.00.
