Designer: Signed MARIAM HASKELL on oval brass tag. Miriam Haskell made high end jewelry since 20's. Her costume jewelry is the collectible of the collectibles. Most of her pieces were signed from the 1940's onward.
This is a 5' long Miriam Haskell lucite crystal necklace which you can double
or triple it around the neck (as seen in the picture). The lucite crystals are
clear, heavily faceted and emit a great deal of diamond shines much like glass
crystals. They are tightly strung with clear bead spacers. Dangling at one end
is a gilded brass oval plate signed Miriam Haskell in block letter and the other
end is a spring-load clasp. As in any Miriam Haskell jewelry, the material used
in this necklace is of fine quality. The lucite crystals are like new, no chip
or crack and look very much like glass but not as heavy as glass would be! Excellent
condition. A fabulous necklace to wear at weddings, prom nights, pageants, parties, cruises and special functions!
