Era: Circa 45.
Condition: Excellent Condition.
Flaw: None.
Size: Length: 2 1/2". Width: About 1 1/8" at the widest point.
Designer: Signed HOBE. Hobe has been in business since the late 1800s,
rich in jewelry history and it seems to be a family tradition. The jewelry items
they created in the early years were of museum quality even though they were
Costume jewelry. They were considered good enough for queens. Hobe quit manufacturing
jewelry sometime in 1992.
These fantastic Hobe bridal dangle drop earrings are simple yet so beautiful and elegant!
The top part is a round textured filigree goldtone piece which has a small high
polished round goldtone bead in the center. Dangling gracefully from it are three
lustrous, faceted ivory white beads hanging into a gorgeous triangular design.
The shape of the beads reminds me of a Christmas tree ornament. Very becoming
indeed! These lovely earrings are clip with screw backs which enable you to adjust
for comfort. Excellent condition. Fabulous earrings for weddings, proms, parties
