Bridal Bib Necklace.
Era: Circa 45.
Condition: Excellent Condition.
Flaw: None.
Size: Length: 16 3/4" and adjustable.
Designer: Signed Hattie Carnegie. The Hattie Carnegie Company operated between 1917 and 1970. Carnegie began designing jewelry to complement her dress designs which attracted the rich and famous. Her designs did not follow the trend of the time to simulate real jewels but instead showed tremendous originality.
Hattie Carnegie crystal clear, brilliantly sparkling rhinestone, glass droplet
faux pearl and swirled baroque faux pearl necklace! This stunning adornment
is heavy due to the high end glass faux pearls used and the silver toned, very
shiny setting is marked Hattie Carnegie at the clasp end on an oval plaque!
There is a bit of wear to the necra finish at the tops of some of the pearl
droplets. It is an extraordinary piece and measures 16 3/4" long with the center
fringe measuring 3 3/4" long! This necklace is so profoundly beautiful and exquisite
that you will want to find any excuse to wear it. A magnificent beauty indeed!
